This past year asked a lot of us.
We entered 2025 full of ambition, eager to take on the challenges and opportunities we were seeing with AI and push the next evolution of our business forward. Then the ground shifted. Economic uncertainty rolled in globally, and the result was tightened markets, shortened timelines, and shifted priorities. All of this happened while we were navigating a rapid AI transformation of our own. Through all of it, Orium moved forward with the kind of resolve and resilience that makes me incredibly proud to write this note.
We set out to evolve who we are and what we bring to the market, and today that evolution is real. Our sharpened focus on adaptive, hybrid human-and-agent experiences has taken shape in tangible ways. You can see it in our client engagements, in our thought leadership, and in the way our teams collaborate across Canada, Mexico, and beyond.
Across the company, we delivered some of the strongest work in Orium’s history. We launched new experiences for brands like DXL, IPSY, Izzi, Belk, Article, and Rotoplas. We supported long-standing clients like Telcel, and Harry Rosen with the consistency and care they count on. And we welcomed 19 new clients, like Big Ass Fans, IGN, and Alloy, earning their trust and delivering multi-stream programs as those relationships deepened.
One of the most telling signs of progress, however, was what we didn’t hear about. This year’s support for Black Friday and Cyber Monday were the smoothest we’ve ever had. That doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when teams prepare, communicate, and execute with precision.
Despite the turbulent economic backdrop, we crossed an important threshold this year: our first agentic client projects went live. I know sometimes the vision for where Orium is heading can feel like a stretch— something just beyond what can be grasped. But this year, you proved otherwise. Through the agentic work we brought to life for Trail Appliances, Article with Fluent, Stripe, and others, you showed that our capabilities are real, our momentum is real, and that we’re closer to that future than we might give ourselves credit for. You proved that an agentic future isn’t theoretical. It’s already being built, and we’re building it.
Inside Orium, that same momentum showed up in how our teams pushed the boundaries of AI. From building our internal delivery operations agent Genie, to peer-led AI demos, to new tooling across Delivery and Tech, to pilots that supported people managers, teams experimented with purpose and shared what worked so others could move faster. That internal progress directly strengthened the work we delivered to clients.
Our Mexico and Canada teams also came together more deeply than ever. Cross-border delivery, operations, pre-sales, and estimation became more seamless, setting a new standard for how we operate as one company. Spanish-speaking Orians navigated a predominantly English operating environment with grace, and their impact on our culture and client work is unmistakable.
Some of our biggest wins this year weren’t on a stage or in a case study. They happened internally, through changes that made us more resilient and more focused as a business. We transformed our payroll operations in Mexico, said goodbye to our Toronto office space after more than a decade, and rebuilt several of our internal processes, automating countless operational workflows, improving reporting, and investing in the systems that help our teams do their best work.
We also rebooted the Orium website and launched a full Spanish-language content engine with more than two dozen posts. We sharpened our decks, refreshed our messaging, and laid the foundation for our next chapter. Day by day, we made Orium stronger.
Behind every win this year was a group of people stepping up for one another. We pushed past obstacles, navigated constraints, and showed what it looks like when collaboration becomes a source of strength. Those stories mattered just as much as the outcomes.
Even when the year was hard, the people at Orium made it meaningful. You showed up for one another, you delivered for clients, and you carried this company through uncertainty with commitment and optimism. We’re entering the new year with clarity, confidence, and the proof points that come from doing the work we set out to do.
Thank you for everything you did to make this year possible.
Here’s to a strong 2026, —Jason
